I'd really love to thank Kristen Moreno from Your Beauty Fix for nominating me for the Liebster Award! I'm very flattered that you thought my blog was decent enough for this award, and I hope I live up to your expectations!

These are supposedly the rules for said award:

The Liebster Award is given to bloggers with less than 200 followers in order to get them more noticed and give them recognition!   

You have to say 11 things about yourself, then answer 11 questions the person who nominated you gave, then nominate 11 more people and give them 11 more questions to pass along! You then go to their page and tell them, oh and no tag backs!

11 Things About Me:

I'm an absolute mess here - no makeup, bad lighting, awful hair. This is just about me at my worst, but it's the only picture I had on hand.

1. My name's Riana, I'm 17 years old, and I live in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates.
2. I've a cat named Fizzle, as I'm sure you're well aware at this point.
3. Nearly every TV show I watch is a comedy - drama bores me, along with most other genres.
4. I'm actually a rather spoilt brat, as I'm sure my parents will attest to.
5. I'm Pakistani but I've never lived in Pakistan.
6. I adore beaches - which probably isn't convenient as I'm moving to the UK for university this summer.
7. I dislike all kinds of dates (the fruit) but one - Majdoul.
8. I hate milk but I love dairy products.
9. I like bright colours in general, but I rarely use them for makeup or clothing even.
10. I did horseback riding for about eight years until I finally became too busy - I'd love to start again though.
11. I was born in Virginia, USA.

Kristen Moreno's Questions:

1. What made you decided to make a blog and what do you enjoy blogging about most?

I like to write, and writing about my day should, in theory, give me plenty of subject matter, so I thought why not? So far, I do enjoy my makeup posts, even if I've only one up :)

2. What are summers like where you are from and whats your favorite thing to do during the summer?

Summers are hot - extremely hot - where I live, and winters aren't exactly cool either, so there's not too much of a change year round. Most places you go to around here will be air-conditioned, so it doesn't make too much of a difference, but the beach is definitely a winter thing. During the summer though, I love to travel.

3. If you could have your dream job, what would it be?

Something easy and well-paying, which would give me the time to do what I want. It's a bit selfish, but I'm assuming that's the point of the question. Making money off of lazing around would be ideal ;)

4. Whats a beauty related habit you would like to break?

Picking at my spots! I like to take care of my skin until a spot shows up and ruins everything, and I normally end up picking at it and making it worse. It's a vicious cycle.

5. Whats your favorite photo of yourself like? Where are you? What are you doing? Who were you with? Why is it your fav? Post it if possible :)

I don't actually have a favorite photo of myself - I'm not very photogenic, so I don't like being in front of the camera too much. Behind the lens is a nicer place for me.

6. Whats one moment in life you don't want to forget?

I don't want to forget any of it.

7. Do you celebrate Halloween? If so, what was your favorite costume growing up? If not, what would you like to dress up as? Any future costume ideas?

I don't celebrate Halloween, no, but it didn't stop me from dressing up on the holiday! I love the traditional black cat outfit - I did even as a child - but I'd love to try something else. Maybe a jockey?

8. If you won the lotto, whats the first thing you would buy? 

Makeup, clothes, and technology. That's all I need.

9. Name a person you would love to meet! Living or Deceased. Celebrity or someone that could be in your every day life. Maybe even that cute guy that you always see but could never seem to talk to haha

One Direction. Bit embarrassing, but it's the truth.

10. Whats your perfect Sunday like?

Spending the whole day out with friends and family, preferably someplace sunny. Dinner out is nice too.

11. Whats your favorite thing to wear? Something specific. Like a pair or shoes, top, necklace, etc. Why is it your fav?

Up until about a week ago, I had a simple pair of sandy brown suede flats that went with just about everything. Unfortunately, after excessive use, the heel off one broke and I lost it :(
